AMCS is seeking to fill primary (PK-3 to K) lead teacher positions. Candidates must be Texas-certified in Early Childhood education (EC-6) with ESL certification and/or Montessori certification in the primary level (for ages 3-6 years old).

Candidates who are Montessori-trained must have a bachelor’s degree and must acquire Texas teacher certification in EC-6 and ESL.

Candidates who are not Montessori trained are expected to complete Montessori certification.

Alief Montessori Community School has openings for elementary and adolescent community (middle school) guide positions. Experienced teachers with Montessori training and/or Texas certification in 4th-8th grades are welcome to apply. Hired candidates without Montessori certification are expected to acquire training through school sponsorship.

Alief Montessori is a public Montessori charter school in Houston, Texas. We serve around 300 economically and culturally diverse students. We have AMI-certified administrators to support our Montessori teachers.
